United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area will be accepting applications from qualifying 501c3’s throughout all of Herkimer and Oneida County for a funding cycle that will run from July 2020 to June 2022.
The Strategic Investment process replaces what previously was called “Allocations.” This name change reflects United Way’s commitment to invest in programs that result in positive impacts through collaborative, high-quality partnerships with local agencies. United Way supports strategic investments that positively impact health, education or financial stability.
New Application Software & Information Sessions
Applicants will use a new software platform, or agency portal, to submit applications.
In addition to using this as a grant submission tool, moving forward the United Way agency portal will be used for interagency correspondence and reporting.
Any non-profit 501c3, government agency or faith-based organization is encouraged to apply for funding.
To introduce its newly developed agency portal to applicant organizations, United Way will held four informational sessions.
