In its simplest form, United Way is a social change organization. With the help of our many devoted volunteers and community partners, we are able to identify local problems, mobilize resources, and fund solutions. We only do so through the generosity of our donors, dedication of our volunteers, and overall support of our community.
United Way is making real, lasting, positive impact by creating opportunities for a better life for all in the Valley and Greater Utica Area. Our focus is on the building blocks for a good quality of life. That is why we wisely invest donor dollars in more than 50 local programs offered through our 35 funded partners, that provide services in the areas of Health, Education, Income and Community Safety Net.
1 in 3 working Americans are unable to make ends meet. Your investment helps individuals and families build and maintain financial stability. When our community members are independent, we are all able to grow.
United Way of the Valley & Greater Utica Area has met Better Business Bureau's 20 Standards for Charity Accountability and is a BBB Accredited Charity. You can view United Way VGU's full Charity Review online at www.bbb.org.
